Tropicana Employment Centre helps unemployed youth access training, job placements and employment counselling.
Employment counsellors and job developers work with you to create a career action plan and arrange job trials and employer connections. Our resource centre is available for your use to help you find your next job.
Here are the programs Tropicana Employment Centre provides for youth:
- Employment Service
- Pre-apprenticeship Training Program: Autobody and Collision Damage Repairer
- Youth Job Connection
- Retail Career Pathway Program
- Toronto Youth Job Corps.
Through the Employment Service program, Tropicana Employment Centre works with schools to support youth aged 16 and above who make the decision to go to work full time. If you are a young person who will no longer be attending school, or if you wish to refer a young person who will be leaving school, please call us.
Tropicana Employment Centre also provides employment and career-related workshops in schools to students year round. All of the workshops that we offer can be provided in schools.
For Community Organizations
